MCP is HOT right now and my friends Omnisend decided to hitch to this wagon, but for very good reason. For years, your marketing stack keeps asking you to come to it. Omnisend just flipped that. They’re calling it MCP. Model Context Protocol. Before you file it under “more AI noise,” look at what it removes: tab-switching, copy-paste,export-to-a-spreadsheet-to-work-out-what-happened ritual that quietly eats a small team’s entire afternoon.
I’ve been making this exact argument all year. The shift happening isn’t AI doing the data plumbing. It’s AI getting close enough to the decision that you can ask “why did this drop in March?” and get an answer instead of another chart to interpret. (Message)
Here’s the part that lands for the operators I work with on this side of the water. This is the un-Klaviyo move. Same power, smaller bill, and now it meets you where you already are. For a founder in Kerry or Budapest running the whole thing off a laptop at 9pm, “just ask your AI instead of digging manually” isn’t a gimmick. It’s an hour of your evening back. This is not to be scoffed at with a World Cup coming up. Believe me.
Omnisend’s own number on email is $79 back for every $1 spent. Make of that what you will. The direction of travel is hard to argue with.
So, honest question for the operators reading this: if your marketing platform lived inside your AI, what’s the first thing you’d actually ask it? “Why did revenue dip last month,” or “write me a win-back flow before I lose the will to live”?
