“When brands say ‘no marketplaces,’ they’re just saying ‘no’ to revenue.” We’ve watched 60–80% of revenue come via marketplaces for some brands refusing that channel is a self-own.

Two hyper-relevant marketplace takes

• 80% of European shopping traffic runs through marketplaces. If you’re fighting for the leftover 20% alone, that’s a strategy problem, not a channel problem.

• Amazon’s product page UX is still ~95% the same, and that’s the point. Marketplaces set the baseline for customer trust and service; DTC experiences that underperform this standard won’t convert.
